Thanks to everyone who has supported the record! Blogs in French, German, English Spanish and Portuguese have given it fab reviews! If you have not downloaded it yet, what are you waiting for? Get it Now!

The Incognito Traveller EP

Keeping our international presence alive, we took off earlier in the month to Paris for this year’s Qwartz Electronic Music Awards. With not much knowledge of French language, we took a stand at the accompanying independent labels fair at the famous Cirque De Hiver. Thank you for all the friendly people we met in Paris.

Our good friends at Dancefloor Mayhem and Discobelle music blogs have just featured Rubinskee’s Telúrico Ep on No Copy Protection, which they labelled “seriously funky”!

Also, last year, Rosco remixed BNLoco’s Canción Playera for a download only EP available via I-Tunes.

You can hear Rosco’s remix on Sonic 360 media player.

Konfort on Highend Tech & Style Magazine

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

Some time ago, the guys at Highend Tech & Style Magazine gathered a bunch of us labels, artists and the like to pick our brains on the future of music in a high tech society. Well, the issue is finally on stands! So, go grab a copy and tell us what you think.

Also, thanks to all of you who showed up this weekend for the second Acido al Parque festival. You got not only to hear Flux — in a rare live set — bring down the house, but also to see him wearing one of our new long sleeve shirts! Classy!

And, of course, do not miss Rubinskee and The Incognito Traveller performing live on the latest installment of our Replicant Night series. Like usual, Centro Cultural España, free entrance!

The Wire 282

The later days have been full of good news and surprises in Konfort-land. Our most recent releases have gotten a lot of international attention, both in the press and in the blogsphere. In the August issue of The Wire (UK), Data was called “a surprising engaging portrait of a vigorous and varied scene.” it was also reviewd in this month’s issue of Go-Magazine (Barcelona) and will be featured in the next issue of Noise magazine (México).

The Incognito Traveller EP has also been received with strong enthusiasm, with rave reviews from the US and Germany. The track “Chaleur” was also named among the 100 best net-released songs ever by the Netlabelism blog.

If that was not enough, Ghaia was also named, by Mexican magazine Sonika among today’s new talents to keep in mind.

In other news, we will be attending this year’s DJ Expo World fair at Mexico city’s Expo-Reforma convention center. This tuesday at 4 pm, we will be part of an expert panel on net-labels.

We’ll keep you posted.
