It is official: We are a cult label!
You might remember a monthly city guide called DF por Travesías, which ceased publication a year ago. Well, instead of a magazine, it is now a book called DF de Culto, featuring the coolest stuff in the city, not for tourists, but for chilangos.“Ponemos énfasis en todo aquello que es clásico e irrepetible de la Ciudad. Aunque existen otras guías, no hay una que sea de los chilangos para los chilangos” said senior editor Guillermo Osorno. So, it is not surprising that when it came to electronic music from the city, they chose Konfort. Go out, get it and read about how cool we are!

Terragroove

Señor Mandril’s sophomore album is coming very, very soon. It is funky, it is groovy and it’s got soul! Jointly released by Intolerancia and Discos Konfort in Mexico, and Three Sixty Records online. Rubinskee on Antojitos Mexicanos + Arkitecto on Elektrorganico

Friday, December 7th, 2007

Yesterday, our friends at Sociedad Subterránea presented the third volume of their Antojitos Mexicanos series. This year, it features a completely new track by Konfort’s Housemaster Rubinskee: “Roquin“.

In other news, our friends at Elektrorganiko Radio show have invited Arkitekto to perform a half and hour live set on the air this thursday January 3rd at 10:00 pm, so check it out! You can tune in at 99.7 fm frequency if you are in the Pachuca area. Otherwise, listen online here: http://www.uaeh.edu.mx/extension/radio

And, remember, stop by the Anahuacalli tomorrow and Sunday to buy our releases directly from our hands.

Peace.
