We’re up to Spain to take part of this year’s World Music Expo, “the world’s biggest professional music Conference, Trade Fair and Showcase for world, roots, folk, ethnic, traditional, alternative world, local and diaspora music” (Le Monde), along with hundreds of other labels and companies from all over the world. The fair takes place from October 24 to 28 in the beautiful Andalusian city of Seville. Bajofondo Tangoclub, Balkan Beatbox, Dengue Fever and Mono Blanco are among the bands scehduled to perform, so you can be sure it will be a rocking event! If you are in the area, stop by our booth and say ‘Hi!’.
In the meanwhile, in Mexico, Konfort will be taking part in most of the important national electronic festivals: Mutek, Interface and Ekofest! Plus our usual monthly residence at Centro Cultural de España en México. Check our calendar for more details.
In other news, Deutschlandradio Kultur’s Breitband recently featured Mogwai’s monthly netaudio-charts which, in turn, featured our very own Incognito Traveller. You can check the article at breitband, and Mogwai’s show at http://mogwai.de/. Listen to the cast here.
Finally, we regret to inform about the sudden demise of Noise magazine. A great team and an awsome source of alternative music coverage in Mexico City. We will greatly miss you!
Now, if you haven’t already, go to our net-label site and download MHV’s 777! It will surely rock your socks off. No diggity, no doubt!
